Over the last two days we’ve had a strong wind blowing, nothing too crazy and nothing to write home about. I mean the wind only gusted up to 70 km/h winds with a little bit of blowing snow or as Environment Canada called it, ‘trace amounts’! Well, it was enough of a wind and snow to bury both our dog houses behind our place. They were gone! The dogs, of course, were not attached to the dog houses as we keep them in the house with us for the most time. We only hook them onto the dog houses when they need to go out to their business and it is there to protect them from the wind or to hide from the mosquitoes in the summer.
The before and after shots!
Well, we spent most of this morning digging out the dog houses and moved them to ‘higher’ ground. First, we had to find Jack’s dog house! Yes, find the dog house as it was completely gone! Jack of course was a great help at digging and looking for her house. Loka on the other hand was perturbed that she could not crawl into her warm dog house while we were outside. Or she might have been upset that Jack was running around while she was chained up – Loka has a habit of running away when off the leash! ~ Sophia & Rob
